Planning a Top 100 songs, 14 Bubbling Under songs, and Music Awards. Can't wait, it's my favorite thing to do.

Newbie Syndrome -- Your first time doing Best Of, you think you can do 200 lists, you think you can do 20 different things daily, and don't realize the extreme level of work.

Holiday Sweep Syndrome -- More than 50% of Best Of's every year don't end up getting finished properly / finished period. Everyone is excited to start, and within the first 2 weeks so many people will die off and give up on finishing.

Newbie Syndrome especially makes it easy to get caught into the Holiday Sweep Syndrome + trying to make a set schedule your first year is practically suicide. You just have to let it flow after the first week.

There's also one syndrome wherein the member is very active in the first few days, takes a one-week break, realizes everybody's already finishing, then begins to lose interest, comes back on the last day to post the rest of the lost in one posting.

I'll be doing my usual Top 50 songs. The only thing I can really count down, even though that is tough

Now to figure out this years logo and layout when the time comes.

I had other logos for the years '11, '10, '09, '08 and I think I did one in '07
But I used image shack for the uploads

I didn't even finish last year. I want to do it, but I've got school until the 11th so it won't happen until then.

If I decide to do it, I want to make my graphics first.

Well Athens is really busy I'm assuming, 'cus we didn't even get Halloween Smilies this year.

But if you remember, he also said during the time he announced the new ATRL Layout that they would completely change 'Best Of's and how they were done.

I'm 75% sure that plan has been changed though, since we haven't got the new version of the site. But if it hasn't, you also have to factor that in to what may be holding out on his announcement.

& I thought we would get announcements around December 1st?

would have done one for last year but 2014 has been so crap for music that i doubt i could think of more than 10 albums to put in a best of list

I've been preparing since January 1st. I have my top 75 songs and top 30 albums coming, along with the top 10 worst moments in music.
