Bloc Party, performing Helicopter - I played this song expecting something like Flux, but overall this is quite a surprisingly good punk rock track...Not as iconic as Flux, but still...
Katy Perry, performing Hot N Cold - I can't stand this song...or any other Katy Perry song for that matter. Overrated, commercial fluff.
Death Cab for Cutie, performing I Will Possess Your Heart - Wasn't this song featured last year? Anyway, it's quite okay for me, but nothing too great.
Missy Elliot, performing Gossip Folks (featuring Ludacris) - No.
Dido, performing White Flag - The problem with some songs is that they eventually become annoying when they feature in everything from Vodafone campaigns to political campaigns, but this is still a good song. (Hopefully the marginally superior Grafton Street will be somewhere in the top 4)
Fall Out Boy, performing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs - Defninitely one of my favorite tracks for them...maybe because it doesn't sound like them. Anyway, it's a winner for me.
Lil Wayne, performing A Milli -I know he's won GRammys and stuff, but as of now, I don't get it, but Rap is hardly listened to where I live.
No Doubt, performing Underneath it All - This is the best song? I prefer other songs coz this is quite lame for me.
One Republic, performing Apologize (featuring Timbaland) - Overplayed just like Dido, but a classic nontheless. SOme sat Timbaland didn't deserve the merit, but I strongly disagree because the orginal was quite lousy.
Keane, performing Everybody's Changing - Same as Dido and One Republic I guess.

Bloc Party, performing Helicopter
It's quite catchy and a quick-grown song.
Katy Perry, performing Hot N Cold
I love this song, one of my favs from her.
Death Cab for Cutie, performing I Will Possess Your Heart
omg, again, another catchy tunes I havent heard before.
Missy Elliot, performing Gossip Folks (featuring Ludacris)
its the last song from missy that i got crazy about. i loved the video too!
Dido, performing White Flag
one of dido's best. its very sentimental and never got old!
Fall Out Boy, performing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs
ok, gotta admit, i loved this song to death at first then it became so annoying and i didnt bother to take a listen again!
Lil Wayne, performing A Milli
ugh, ive heard this song few times and i swear whats good on it?
No Doubt, performing Underneath it All
been a while i didnt listen to this song, and when i did, it was like a throwback to early 00s. i remember watching this on my mtv. cute days. still love this song!
One Republic, performing Apologize (featuring Timbaland)
i hate the fact that timbaland does the "eh ah na eh!" thing on this song, but gotta thank him for making this song big though. its one of 00s biggest hit and seriously, its really damn perfect, i can relate to this song so much.
Keane, performing Everybody's Changing
again another good throwback song, keane's best song IMO, it just has the vibe i dont know grief, sadness, and like dont wanna grow up, great lyrics as well!

Bloc Party - It's actually pretty good. Catchy.
Katy Perry - Amazing pop song. Only behind "I Kissed A Girl" for me.
Death Cub For Cutie - Don't like it.
Missy Elliot - Okay, but she's done better.
Dido - It's okay, but "Thank You" is better.
Fall Out Boy - Another average song.
Lil Wayne - Love it. One of the best from his album.
No Doubt - What can I say? I've always loved No Doubt and this song isn't any different. By far, the best on the list.
One Republic - Great song. The Timbaland remix is much better.
Keane - Hate it. Worst on the list.
Overall, it's a weak list with a few gems.

Katy Perry, performing Hot N Cold

Death Cab for Cutie, performing I Will Possess Your Heart
I dnt like it, too much of something I can't describe on it.
Missy Elliot, performing Gossip Folks (featuring Ludacris)
Surprisingly I loved this one of hers... too bad she's no longer that good.
Dido, performing White Flag
A classic. One of the most beautiful ballads of the decade

Too stupid lyrics and beat. It gets catchy somewhere but more like a karaoke than a good single.
Lil Wayne, performing A Milli
This song sucks as hell!! Cant stand him or any of his singles...
No Doubt, performing Underneath it All
Sooo sootheful song, nostalgic and beautiful <3
One Republic, performing Apologize (featuring Timbaland)

Bloc Party, performing Helicopter
I used to play this and Banquet heavily in the Burnout series (videogame). Great song.
Katy Perry, performing Hot N Cold
I still have yet to listen to her album in full, but this was by far the standout song from what I've heard.
Death Cab for Cutie, performing I Will Possess Your Heart
This is just a great song for relaxation. Grab a cold one, sit back and watch the clouds go by.
Missy Elliot, performing Gossip Folks (featuring Ludacris)
Both the video and the song are amazing. They don't make them like this anymore.
Dido, performing White Flag
This was the song where Dido went from being "That girl from the Stan video" to one of my favorite artists.
Fall Out Boy, performing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs
For me, this was FOB at their peak. Just when I thought the song couldn't get any more awesome, the video blew me away.
Lil Wayne, performing A Milli
I don't love this song, but I like it. It started getting annoying when everyone and their mother made a cover of it, but it's still a good song.
No Doubt, performing Underneath it All
I played this to death when it first came out. Listening to it again brings back tons of memories.
One Republic, performing Apologize (featuring Timbaland)
This song surprised me. I knew Timbaland has a good album on his hands, but I was not expecting the breakout success of One Republic. It's a classic.
Keane, performing Everybody's Changing
I vaguely remember this, but it's pretty damn good.

Bloc Party, performing Helicopter
BOW @ this one. I love it, one of their bests along with Banquet. Are you hoping for a miracle? This was the song with which they ended their concert in my country and it was really wild. I sang my lungs out.
Katy Perry, performing Hot N Cold
A pop diamond, catchy, fun, sticky. And the video rocked too.
Death Cab for Cutie, performing I Will Possess Your Heart
Mehh.. Soul Meets Body owns this song and all other songs in the list.. This one is just a chill-out track, it's good but nothing too special.
Missy Elliot, performing Gossip Folks (featuring Ludacris)
Hadn't heard this This **** be popping! Missy Elliott is a great artist, always innovating hip-hop. However, she has better songs.
Dido, performing White Flag
Wow I think i had heard this but I had never really paid attention to it. And I really liked it Good stuff by a girl i've never paid attention to. Imma put it up on my list.
Fall Out Boy, performing Thnks Fr Th Mmrs
Back when FOB was good and interesting, they released this great song, which i played a lot. It got boring after a few weeks.
Lil Wayne, performing A Milli
I loved the performance @ the VMAs w/ Leona and T-Pain, but this song is nothing special by itself.
No Doubt, performing Underneath it All
One of the best songs ever made in the history of humankind. 'Nuff said.
One Republic, performing Apologize (featuring Timbaland)
It was my #2 song of 2008.
Keane, performing Everybody's Changing
Excellent song, but I would've preferred Somewhere Only We Know or Spiralling to be competing.

Helicopter - Bloc Party.
The song that introduced me to what is now one of my favorite bands, one of the many gems of that masterpiece that is Silent Alarm. A not-too subtle jab towards the foreign policy of the then-current Bush administration (topic also covered in Price Of Gas). The guitar riffs are KILLER. Excellent way to start the week.
Hot N Cold - Katy Perry.
I couldn't stand this song when it first came out, but after 6 months of hearing it EVERYWHERE, I must admit it has somewhat grown on me.. it's very, very catchy. I'm not really tempted to listen to the rest of her album, though .
I Will Possess Your Heart - Death Cab for Cutie.
Hauntingly effective and beautiful.. I just immerge myself into the music every time I hear it.
Gossip Folks (ft. Ludacris) - Missy Elliott.
This song never fails to make me smile.
White Flag - Dido.
Extremely overplayed back when it was released, it's a nice background song.
Thnks Fr Th Mmrs - Fall Out Boy.
It's ok, nothing too extraordinary for me.
A Milli - Lil Wayne.
Not my cup of tea. I find him to be incredibly overrated.
Underneath It All - No Doubt.
Oh yes, definitely a highlight of their '00s work. It's downbeat, mellow, reggae vibe gets to me every time.
Apologize - One Republic (ft. Timbaland).
Catchy but nothing more. I grew weary of it fast.
Keane - Everybody's Changing.
Timeless, pleasant pop song.

I Will Possess Your Heart - Death Cab for Cutie.

Gossip Folks (ft. Ludacris) - Missy Elliott.
BOWWWWWWWWWWWW
White Flag - Dido.
This is mah jam back then, but this is overrated.
Thnks Fr Th Mmrs - Fall Out Boy.
I love it! Super duper! And the video makes me love it more
A Milli - Lil Wayne.
This is a descent one
Underneath It All - No Doubt.
OHH YEZ. Bow to No Doubt.
Apologize - One Republic (ft. Timbaland).
One of my fave song back then.
