Diplo: “Madonna’s first single has been chosen and it is one of my 5 songs”.
Diplo will play at the Stereosonic Music Festival in Australia next December and, interviewed by Australian Nova 100 Radio in Melbourne to promote it, he talked about his work with Madonna.
Here’s what he said:
"We have finished the work together. The first single has been chosen and it is one of my songs.
5 songs of mine should be on the final tracklist and are in the mixing stage at the moment."
He added that “the sessions were fun and most of my tracks have a reggae vibe“.
Madonna is really only putting out new music just so she can tour. Can't blame her though.
That was more true for MDNA I think. She even admitted it.
This being her 13th album (thirteen has a significance in Kabbalah) and the fact that this is among the longest times we've waited between albums, I'm inclined to feel otherwise.

That's why her materiel is not deep and artistic anymore (i miss albums filled with deep lyrics and dark production "ROL", "AL" ) because deep means depressing and boring, it doesn't sells ticket.
Interesting. I don't think reggae is a direction she's explored in the past, though she did mess around with ska/2 Tone with her band Emmy back in le day.
