I had all three removed. My 4th didn't grow because I'm gay But they didn't put me to sleep, the injected my gum and my whole mouth/jaw area was numb but I didn't hurt.

You don't really have much to worry about. You'll blink as the anasthesia runs through your system and before you know it you'll be rolled out of the operating room. The next few days were the pits though. Swollen jaws and bleeding gums. Even eating noodles or bread hurt But it goes away in like less than a week so

When I woke up however I was on some other **** . I cursed out the surgeons, told a female one I wanted to **** her and I was ready to fight my mom because she wouldn't let me sit in the front seat with her . I even sent some...revealing texts to exes

The pain was not bad until a few hours after. My teeth were pounding and I had by far, the worst pain in my life (I'm almost never injured). I needed 3 types of pain meds. My face swelled up like a balloon for a few days and I couldn't open my mouth at all for the first 24 hours. I couldn't eat either, so I drank some ensure protein drinks which made me gain like 15 pounds in a week. My stitches also fell out early so I was bleeding constantly everywhere.

Actually I still have a huge hole in the back of my mouth that resembles a second throat when I open it. Food falls in and I need mouth wash to wash it out because if the skin grows over it I could get a very bad infection

Over here they just give you some local anesthetic and you are 'awake' the whole time. They only remove one side at a time and you have to come back for the other side.

I got mine taken out last year. Legit the last thing I remember after them making small talk was 'Ok we're going to give you good stuff now' then I woke up at home.

Apparently during this, they made me stay awake for about 30 mins. My friend said that every time someone would walk away I would shut my eyes I also asked why my pants were on and if they weren't I wasn't going to pay I also asked to go to Wendy's, which I don't remember.

My mouth must've known I would be useless to the men on 'social networking' apps until I recovered, so it took me 4 days before I was back on solids. The first day was ok, no excessive bleeding, and the ONLY time I got a dry socket was because I suck back Jello and my mouth exploded with blood so they're really for real about not using straws and suction in your mouth other than that it was just getting used to eating anything with ONLY your front teeth, that part was the WORST.

OMFG I'm scheduled to go next weekened and get the lower two removed but I have a party that weekend and I don't wanna miss it so might reschedule it

Last year on my birthday. They were growing in sideways. fortunately my job had the dental plan and I paid nothing. Even the prescriptions only cost me $2. Mom recommended only have the bottom two removed. The doctor said all four should go. I was sick of the job, so I used that last benefit to the fullest and removed all 4.

They gave me the anesthesia. It felt like everything slowed down. My body hurt a bit, but then the numbness kicked in, starting from my legs on upward. I was so sedated but I could still hear the doctors talking. What felt like 5-10 minutes to me was actually an hour they said. It didn't hurt with the anesthesia. But I could feel one tooth in particular being yanked.

Afterwards, I had to keep my mouth full of gauze. That night I was so nauseated by the anesthesia, that i could barely eat soup. And i vomited 2 or 3 times. I just wanted to SLEEP! My mouth was still bleeding all over my pillow as I slept. It was disgusting. I wasn't supposed to eat solid food for a few days, but my greedy, brazen ass ate subway the next day anyway...

So glad I got that done. They hurt so much coming in I've heard worse stories about them being removed though. Probably people who couldn't get the anesthesia.

And my jaws were swollen as heck the new few days. It didn't hurt too much. But it looked awkward.

Yes, I didn't receive any anesthesia just numbing, I honestly think it varies. For me, my face swelled up 3 times the normal size and I had to be on medication and a liquid diet for a while. It wasn't really "fun." But you never know how your body will react tbh. Just go in calm and everything will be fine

Make sure you take several drugs after your wisdom teeth and sleep
