Although femininity in guys has been embraced by majority(minus ATRL and other regions) it still seems like Masculinity has the upper hand do you agree or not?
GHEYS usually suffer from specially snowflake syndrome. They know people disrespect gays because the stereotypical gay is very feminine so they always try to brag about and highlight their "masculine" qualities while hiding the fem ones. You have these queens running around serving Chris Croker only to log into Grindr and type "Masc Bros looking for Masc Bros to do Masc Bro things with #MascBrosOnly #PowerTop" . It's sad but I remain:
Unfortunately, it does. People have an addiction to masculinity.
I personally lean more towards guys who have a balance of both masculine/feminine qualities; over-masculine/feminine guys aren't my cup of tea.
However, the "feminine" shaming. along with other types, that come from within the gay community is horrid and needs to be stopped. You want somebody to accept you for who you are and you get offended when they don't, yet we as a community don't even have respect for ourselves as individual people and as a whole and find that okay? Hypocrisy.
Well, if I say yes, that would just be me saying that being king is better than being queen, therefore, being male is better than being female.
But I digress, no. I'm not saying I want my man to be exuding estrogen, but I want him to be emotionally available, which is something that's hard to do when sticking with what's "masculine" in Western society. I want at least enough femininity to not be afraid to cry, or to smile...I don't want this stone-cold, rugged machine who'd blow my back out, but not ever talk about what he's thinking about, or how he's feeling, and I'd want to be able to talk about those types of things with him.

This.
It pretty much is the standard for most gay men, but I don't find masc guys attractive myself at all.
