Shakira was my favorite artist before Britney came out. I still love her.

I didn't start to appreciate Britney until "In The Zone" came out. Then, I fell in love. :heart:

I was only a 10 year-old lil girl, what more would you expect me to like at that age, Mariah Madonna and the other were too "mature" for me back then.


But i didnt become a BIG britney fan till the In The Zone era really, but she was still one of my favorites when she first came out.

I was pretty young when BOMT came out and I just to like Shakira but years later Brit stole away my heart and I haven't had it back lol.

Im a big Britney Fan, but not like any of you haha. Britney never changed my outlook on "favorite artist" .. but before she came out I was IN LOVE with mariah Carey and still am probably even more. But I was also into Whitney Houston, Celion Dion, N'Sync, Shakira, Boys II Men, VANILLA ICE! haha

In that moment of my life i din't care too much about music. I remember clealry that I was in love with Shakira specially (thanks to my aunt). I got to know a little bit of Green Day, Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers thanks to my friends, and also a little bit of techno and dance music. At the same time, I personally loved Alanis Morissette, Oasis, Shania and obviously No Doubt. Some songs by the Spice Girls were also in my mind and some old stuff like Michael Jackson, ABBA, Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, etc thanks to my mom. My dad tought me a little bit of the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and Santana. Some latin music too like Maná, Alejandro Sanz and even Paulina Rubio 8my nanny loved pau). I also used to listen some albums of my uncle by Madonna, Destiny's Child, Pet Shop Boys, Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey also RHCP... and then he bought the album of Britney Oops I Did It Again and the live album of the tour in las vegas. after that (but not specially because of britney) i became a music lover. He also introduced me to Nelly Furtado, Robbie Williams, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Beyoncé, the BEP, Natalie Imbruglia, Dido, P!nk, Xtina and the new era of Shakira. Then, thanks to some special friends I got in love with the euro rock/pop and the kind of music between U2, R.E.M. and then obviously Coldplay, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chifs, Oasis, The Verve, etc etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE MUSIC

Eh, i don't remember at all.
Maybe it's because Britney is the one who makes me interested in music, and after that i spare my time to listen to music.
