Honestly, we live in the age of digital. There's no such thing as geographical music barriers anymore thanks to the internet. Whether it's Youtube, Soundcloud, 8tracks, Spotify or iTunes, we're all capable of finding new and interesting music ourselves.

To be fair I think he was referencing the thread "Beyonce's impact on French stars" where the posters in France (a European country) said their pop stars were basic and reductive flops, etc etc. Putting (inferred) words in his mouth, but I don't think he meant Europe is a country

I think he meant European (the adjective) and just used Europe (the noun) instead. After all, he said "Europe country" and you wouldn't say "Australia country" or "China country" - you would just say "Australia" or "China."
He didn't know the right adjective. Maybe English isn't his first language. It's nbd and isn't really worth shaming him publicly in The Lounge
