We DO have geographical music barriers. Even inside the US.

I understand what are you trying to say since in the grand scheme of things people who represent ' the general public' are more likely to listen to the music from their own country/region but to me and basically everyone on ATRL who is invested in music/stanning/charts etc and who wants to broaden his music taste there isn't such thing geographical barrier since due to internet all music is available by simply clicking on couple of sites. So yes, I agree that it's pointless to argue about stuff like that on the site where most of people are familiar with pop music scene outside their borders...
