Pastor Manning defends his sign, saying that homosexuality is sweeping through Harlem. The area has seen a lot of gentrification in the last few years and the pastor feels that this has brought homosexuals into the community. Pastor Manning says that his sign reflects this.
“It’s an attempt to save the black family,” said Pastor Manning. “There is a major problem in the black family with the absence of black fathers, black husbands.”

Black gays, are you gay because of Obama? Have you left your baby mama for a white man?
****** always ready to cry battyman fi dead, but can't get their heads around the difference between the singular and the plural. Give me a ****ing break.
Also: ****** is ****ing the ****** out here. That sign might ring more true in, say, Billyburg. But Harlem?
Implying that homosexuality is exclusive to white men.
Implying that a straight male is somehow turning black men who look up to the president makes them gay.
OP you should have posted more, it's an interesting article.

One resident, Rochelle Hill, who lives a block away from the ATLAH World Missionary Church, says she is sick of seeing Pastor Manning’s hate on display in her neighborhood. She calls the latest sign, “appalling,” and thinks it is a “poor representation” of her community.
Another resident, Ronald Flagg, thinks that the homophobic sign is “absurd.”
