I've decided to move to Canada for a year for a travelling holiday. I'd be travelling and working too. IO have a work permit and just need a job tbh (which someone is helping me with). I'm unhappy here in the UK and tbh moving away is exactly what I need. If you had the opportunity to go somewhere like this would you?

Yep I moved to Japan three months ago straight after college and, well, it's been interesting... even though I studied Japanese for a year and a half at uni - I'm REALLY struggling with the language. And the gay scene in Hokkaido is literally non-existent except for Sapporo aka. a 5hr drive away.

I'd love to do what you're doing though - move from England to Canada for a bit after I finish uni. Are you finding all of the whole process pretty easy?

I couldn't live in Hokkaido, so without a doubt, Honshu. I LOVED Osaka and Kyoto when I went, and would definately go back.

And oh that website looks super helpful & interesting! I'll have to bookmark it and check it out properly when I'm closer to leaving uni! Do you know what kinda job you'll be doing out there? Do they find you a place to stay or do you find your accommodation yourself?
