What is your relationship with your ex after a break up? Do you remain friends or do you cut ties?

I've realized that pretty much every ex of mine I've cut out of my life almost completely. I delete them from social media and we stop talking and hanging out. However, most people seem to remain friends which I just can't seem to ever do. Every time I look at that person I'm reminded of all the good times and what could have been.

Apart of me has also begun to realize that I never truly get over the last ex until I meet and fall in love with someone new.

One of mine I still chat with, but that's cause we're part of the same group of friends. It was super awkward for a half a year but now we're completely over it. We're not like super close but it's not awkward. My other one and I chat very rarely and are still fb friends but eh I don't really care to talk to him that much unless it's about video games.

I've managed to have really good relationships with mine.

I'm cool with all of them, but I only talk to them here and there when I see them. I don't hang with any of them because of my current relationship.

I don't talk to any of them anymore. I kind of suck at ending things. It's never amicable.

Yeah that's kind of what happened to me as of now actually. I just hung out at the same party as my ex and his new boyfriend the other night because of mutual friends. For months we were basically throwing shade at each other through other people but we finally talked the other night and were chill. Then today I saw him in the parking lot at school and said hey and we talked for a minute.

I mean maybe it is possible to be friends but it still does hurt a little every time I see him. I truly loved him and started making plans in my head of our life together. Then one day he just said his feelings for me were gone.

One turned out to be a **** and I don't deal with ha anymore.
One is now my best friend.
One disappeared for a while and I'm still not sure what they're doing.

I mean I guess by what you just said I'm "cool" with mine as well. If I see them out I'll say hello and stuff but I definitely don't make it a point to talk or hang out with them otherwise.

2 were cheaters and the other one disappear( never date a businessman). They can die.

I mean I used to keep them on Facebook as well but a few months ago I was really bitter and went on a deleting spree.

He basically deleted all of his social media accounts(facebook,twitter,instagram, etc), his last seen on whatapp was on Saint Valentine. At the end, one of his friend told me that he moved to another country for a new job. So yeah, he is dead for me.

I hate my ex so much. I see him very often but we never talk. I've moved on.

One I'm still friends with but we kinda fell out of touch. And now she's engaged. We're cool though.

The other I cut out of my life abruptly. I don't return her texts. She came to my house the other day and I escaped to Starbucks.
