For current or future relationships, I think it's always best to cut ties.

We literally stopped talking and ignored each other's existence more than a year. But now we're good friends so I guess that's good

It's not like we break up and automatically become friends but it sure does take time. Long stories short, I'm friends with three of my four exes. My first love and I are pretty much still inseparable when we see eachother but that's far and between these days.

My other ex and I stay in touch through facebook regularly. We care lol. And my third ex and I spent two 1/2 years together that formed into a lifelong friendship I'm extremely grateful for now, though it obviously took months to reach a point where the relationship part fizzled.

My last ex can go fall, break a leg, have a car run over him, and die a slow painful death tbh. No apologies for dat one. Btw I started young, like at 13, so don't think I'm a **** or anything lol

It depends. I'm still friend with 2 of my exes but we never went too far in our relationships.
But the rest we cut everything, i don't know what they do, who they ****, or whatsoever. Once we're done we're DONE.

My first ex and i still see each other in town during weekends and stuff. We broke-up on friendly terms.

My 2nd was a distaster. He was bisexual and i finally had enough of his **** after catching him at a party fondling with a chicks boobs.

My third was amazing during the begging but quickly faded out. I didn't love him, i just liked him as a friend but i still said i loved him.

My recently fourth ex was a disaster. He basically promised these things and i stupidly (it takes me alot to belive people and trust them) belived his lying ass. Turns out whislt he was "in love with me", he was cheating on me with some dude. I found out when he updated his relationship status and tagged the dude in question. I called my ex up and he ignored my calls. He was such a lying coward that he couldn't tell me that he was done with me. It hurt like hell to be honest (happened during the weekend) but im finally coming to terms with it. I've learned one thing from this that don't trust peoples word, only their actions.

One of my exes I spoke to initially, until I found out he'd cheated on me when we were together :\
My other ex I cut ties straight away because I still wanted to be with him and knew if we still spoke all the time like he wanted I would never get over him.. I found out he cheated on me too when we were together not long after the split, so I'm best off without it's pretty sad when you thought you had a friendship as a basis of your relationship though, but that's life.

I was recently dumped and i try to hold a conversation with my ex because i still have the feels. But I can slowly tell he’s getting more distant. I don’t see us talking for long although i wish we could.
