Well for the past decade songs would hit #1 based on sales and airplay. If streaming was involved back then, a LOT of songs would have soared up into the top 5 instead of peaking at the lower end of the top 10.
Reminds me of when Gentleman peaked at #5 on the Hot 100 but to a lower extent, or Dope at #8 (wtf)
