I heard from a science professor that most species of mammals (which include humans) have a time span on earth of about 2.5 million years. So according to that science professor the human species only has about 2.2 million years left, then we will be replaced by something more advanced.

In The Turner Diaries all Jews and non-whites are exterminated, which leads to paradise on Earth. When you read the book, it actually sounds like a plausible scenario.

On the other hand, if we survive long enough without racism, then eventually there will be only one race left, a mixture of all current races. I don't see how that is more detrimental to humanity than our current situation.

Personally I think that racism isn't that big of a factor anymore. It was a much bigger issue in the past and still humanity survived. While there are still some racial conflicts in the world, religion is what's driving mankind into chaos.

The last date on the Mayan calendar is December 21, 2012, so the end may be sooner than we realize. Plus, there is an interpretation of Nostradamus view of doomsday, represented by the 8 spoked wheel (which symbolizes the sun's allignment with the center of the universe that occurs once every 13,000 years and will occur next in 2012).

I think the greatest danger really depends on how trigger happy the countries with nuclear weapons are.

I definitely think religion could play a huge part in the downfall of humanity but, as far as I'm concerned, I'm a tad bit more concerned about nuclear weapons.
