I use bits of "ATRL"/gay slang in real life. Like drag, shade, stan, alberm, yas, etc.

I had to teach myself had to say "album" again properly because my mom kept dragging me for 'saying it wrong'.

I was telling my family about the incest cult family that was found here in Australia and I accidentally said, "What kind of The Hills Have Eyes teas?" and as soon as I said it I realised what I had done and there was an awkward silence and then I left the room.

lmao. I use PERCH a lot lately too, whenever something good is on TV i'm like "lemme perch" and people just look at me like wtf lol.

Not perch, though. I find myself saying phrases like that <- a lot. My grammar sucks after being on ATRL for 3 years. I can't even form proper sentences without hurting my brain.

There was one awkward incident a few weeks ago. I was talking to my grandmother about a Facebook argument I had with somebody, and I said, "I ****ing scalped that bitch" and may or may not have used the words "receipts" and "tea". I felt a little weird after I said it, but I hurried and changed the subject before she could comment.

I've been using shade and drag so often. But I go to a performing arts high school, even my teachers say "throwing shade."
