I mean, everytime I don't feel good health wise, I run to google and type in my symptoms just to find I have diabetes or cancer and then I end up going to the doctor the next day and then he tells me I have a dislocated shoulder or something minor that is treatable
I usually do, but I try not to freak myself out over whatever I find. It's more like a preemptive step before I decide if I really do need to see a doctor or not, and usually I find that I don't.
Yes, all the time!
I remember once it I googled that I couldn't go to the bathroom and some medical site said to drink lots of water because I was probably having digestion problems. I ended up vomiting all the water back up. I went to the emergency room and ended up needing to get surgery because I had appendicitis.
Then this other time this site came up telling me that I was showing signs of Schizophrenia. All because I was feeling really down and over thinking things. I went to the doctor and it turns out I was just stressing out and suffering from anxiety due to my job.
So yeah never trust the internet when it comes to your health.
No I go to a health academy and I'm enrolled in the Anatomy/Physiology college course class so I can tell when something is wrong, or I just ask around. But I stopped listening to those before I went into my academy because cancer would always be listed
Because I can have a common cold and Google will be telling me I have rare booty virus found in the deepest dankest part of a jungle in South America that was contracted by shaking the hands of 7 jungle fairies while singing a song called "Booty Hopscotch" and that I have 6 hours to live.
Nothing serious happens to me so I don't really check for it unless it's serious or recurring. But let my mom not catch me coughing on the phone because she will drag herself over to my place to diagnose me with something. :deadbanana
