Some of the things I read on here are truly disgusting. The racism has become increasingly apparent and I'm not sure why. These are insults we should be past. It is 2013. Racism should not even be such an issue, internet or non-internet anymore. We've made so much progress and the hideous insults do nothing but hinder even further progress of race equality.

I've also noticed an increase in homophobia, with insults like "queen", "****", "***", "tranny", being tossed around. ATRL has a large LGBT base, so a lot of it is internalized homophobia. Insulting fellow LGBT community is sad and furthers society's negative stereotypes. It shouldn't matter if someone is masculine or feminine, they are a human being. If you are more masculine, are you superior? You may not state it directly, but that's what your implying? This is something that is a terrible cause of distress and sadness in so many LGBT youth, but people haven't stopped. And it's about time some of you learned to respect the transgender and transsexual community. I'm looking at people calling P!nk a "****" especially.

You may be anonymous, but do know you're pathetic if you use that as an excuse to unleash ignorance onto a forum full of people who may read your posts and be affected by what they say. The internet can breed some disgusting behavior, are you proud to know you're a part of that culture? If you say these types of insults in real life or behind a screen, re-evaluate your life. Find out why you think so negatively, and fix it before you insult anyone else or any other group of people.

I've seen specifically alot of implied insults thrown at feminine types of gays. Maybe annoying is not a huge insult but the motive behind it is equal to any other. I certainly don't join in but I never had the courage to speak out about it either. So I thank you for posting this.

After sitting through 45 minutes of RadioArtpop I don't blame homophobics. Even some the gays on this site said they themselves were turning into homophobics after watching them.

I agree so much. The fact that racist and homophobic slurs are used as comedic insults is disgusting and the comedic element is worn off immediately and at the core what is being said is truly disgusting. It's 2013, lets grow up.
