I really love Jesus's Sermon on the mount. It's so full of common sense, respect, empathy and words that every human, religious or not can live by.

Agree. Far too many people take the Old Testament out of context in order to promote their own interests. The Old Testament is just their as a reference, while the New Testament is what the real Christian faith follows.

Exactly. And if these so called Christians actually understood what the bible really said then they would know that the worst kind of people according to Jesus(and God) are those who use the teachings of the bible to push their own personal beliefs (and hate)onto other people

That's why I'm not ashamed to call myself a Christian even though many Christians say and do hypocritical things all the time. It's not gods fault that people are dumb.
