While becoming a mega YouTube star and being BFFs with Ellen DeGeneres is great and all, Sophia Grace is ready to make it as a movie star, as she has just landed her first motion picture role in Disney‘s Into the Woods.
The pint-size British sensation will be playing none other than Little Red Riding Hood in the musical adaption of the film. Sophia Grace Releases ‘Girls Just Gotta Have Fun’ Video And 8-year-old Sophia will be in very good hands as she’ll star along an A-list cast, including Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Meryl Streep as the Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, and Emily Blunt as the Baker’s Wife.
The news first broke on Twitter by Sophia’s very proud uncle, Lucas Brownlee. Into the Woods is set to come out in December 2014.
I don't want to look pathetic for criticizing a child, but her acting skills aren't that great after seeing her appear in that new show featuring Ariana. Hopefully (and probably) she'll get some acting lessons.
