You Be the Psychic: Predict the Stars' Future
I think this is a really cool idea for a thread. The idea is that you predict the future of a celebrity, most likely a musician. This isnt what you hope will happen, rather what you think will probably end up happening. You dont even have to like the artist or know much about them.
I'll get the ball rolling..
1. Madonna - Madonna will continue to crank out albums that will allow her success to continue unmatched. Confessions will have been her last fully dance album however, as she will move on to albums that resemble past albums such as Ray of Light or American Life. She will have one last Confessions/Re-Invention like tour with lots of dancing, the tours after that will be mainly her just singing with the occasional dance. She'll become nicer, less in your face. A long way down the road when she dies, I cant help but think she'll end up dying in a tragic accident; much like Princess Diana's death. Her kids will go on to be famous. Lourdes will be a dancer/designer. Rocco won't do much, and David will become active in the government somehow.
2. Britney Spears - for the first part of the decade, she will remain a pop icon. Her next album will be quite succesful, but she will continue on an ever falling downslope. Her albums will be less and less succesful, and she will slowly drift off the front page of tabloids. She'll remain a star, but one of those page 10 stars, not frontpage. If anything years down the line, her kids will keep her in the news.
3. Justin Timberlake: He'll continue to re-invent himself, and will grow as an artist.
4. George Bush: Will leave office early in an even bigger scandal; larger than the War in Iraq or Katrina.
5. Jon Stewart - Will continue to be famous as a parody news caster, and will catch an even bigger break when he moves from Comedy Central to a network like NBC or CBS.
(may run for office?)
6. Michael Jackson - He'll make another album, or at least remake an album, it'll have dismal success on the charts. He'll continue to get weirder, however there will be no more shocking stories or events like the previous court cases. His children will turn out kinda strange, but nowhere near as strange as he is.

Mariah Carey - she will have a few more years of huge success but will die of silicone poisoning after one of her breast implants unknowingly splits on a long-haul flight to New Zealand!
Janet Jackson - wll pick her career up again after signing a $65million deal with Sony-BMG and drops Jermaine Dupri as producer, giving him the role of househusband to their future kids!
Whitney Houston - my cards say things far too upsetting to share on here!!!
Marie Serneholt - her US career will take off and will record a duet with Mandy Moore... no one, not even the artists, will be able to tell who sings what part when they hear it back! She will turn down an A*Teens reunion offer for the simple reason they're not teenagers anymore.

Beyonce- Takes a 2 year old break and DC reunites in 2009 for another goup album. The album comes out in 2010 and is their most successful album to date, surpassing 13 million sold worldwide. After that, she records a solo record in 2012 and releases it in 2013. The album is a masterpiece and a total new direction (RnB, ROCK, JAZZ record). The album sells over 15 million copies (7 in the USA) and wins her 6 grammy awards..
If anyone call pull this off, it's Beyonce.

^LMAO. As much as I may be feeling her right now, that doesn't change that she's not the biggest female act anymore. There are a few who surpass her but I won't get into that.
Michael Jackson - His comeback will be similar to Madonna's. He'll do extremely well internationally but moderately well in the U.S, though it'll sell more than Invincible. He'll gain respect over the next few years, even if it is a little.
Justin Timberlake - He'll continue to ripoff artists who came not long before him and it'll become extremely apparent. People will also realize that the only good aspect of his music is the production. I say two more hit albums, also because of his oncoming drug addictions.
Mariah Carey - Her next effort will be a more creative one and her people will focus on the "small" world outside of the states, in the promotion department. Dramatic changes will take place in her personal life as well. Her circle of friends will become a lot smaller when she finally seeks professional help.

Cassie - Like her ****** sucessor who taught her how to suck at life (Rihanna), Cassie will drop her spohmore effort 8 months after her first album with a really annoying, overplayed single. But during the videoshoot for her second single, she will be mauled by tigers.
Britney Spears - At the end of 21006 while getting pregnant again with hetr 14th child, Spears does all her enemies (AKA The Faguilera stans) a favor and leaves the music industry. K-Fed and Spears divorce and she's left broke
Kelly Rowland - In 2007, Kelly will step from out of Beyonce's shadow seperate herself from the Destiny's Child and releases an AMAZING sophmore effort album and is all of the singles are worldwide hits.

Temper tantrums? I'm not even angry lol. I also indicated that I wasn't in the mood.
But let's be realistic. She's not invincible, lets leave it at that.

Oh shut up. I'm a Bee fan, but it's her stans like you that really make people sick of her. She is not the best thing invented since fire, so just calm down because I HIGHLY doubt that Brian intended to piss you off by saying Bee's not the grestest person alive

Jon himself said he'll never run for office. He's just great at political satire.
I think he should stay with the Daily Show till 2010 or later. it's the best breeding ground for new comedic talent around today(even though, no one besides Samantha Bee is as good as Daily Show Alumni like Carell, Colbert, Corddry, etc). after that who knows. Letterman is retiring around 2010 or so, so he could take over the Late Show and be against Conan. that would be a huge ratings battle.

Isn't this topic about sharing your own VISIONS about an artist's future? This topic isn't about judging someone's opinion or butting in (like you have Arith, I respect you, but please I hate that).
I know DAMN well that Beyonce isn't invincible. God knows what might happen with her career. But I ONLY stated my view on her career in the future. Anything wrong with it? NO ONE can tell for now that my vision won't come true.
No one attacked XTIAN, and his vision was more than optimistic as well. And Britney is farrr from being the dominant female artist out there.

I understand where you are coming from, so I won't comment.
but I think the reason no one attacked XTIAN is because he is obsessed with Britney and nothing can change his beliefes on Britney, even if they are obviously never going to haoppen, and his response will probably be something like this:

Fergie - she'll release another album but it will be the biggest flop of all time, then she will be on the taiblods when we all find out that she was having a love affair with Ashlee Simpson and after that she will commit suicide
Shakira - she'll release a new english album but it'll flop even worse than oral sex vol 2 because she will break her hips in a car accident so she's not going to be able to dance anymore then sony will fired her and she is going to end up in her native country mexico acting in cheap soap operas
Madonna - she'll release 2 more albums with average success then she'll release her last greates hits set and then she will die for being so old. Her daughter will become the next queen of pop
Beyonce - she will marry Jay-Z she's going to get fat and her albums sales will be dissapointed then she'll turn a drug addict and finally she'll end up in a rehab center

JoJo - Her singles will be Anything (Top 30), This Time (Top 5), and Let It Rain (Top 20). She might do another film at age 17 to be released late '07 before heading back into the studio to record her third album.
Christina Aguilera - Tell Me and Hurt will both do very well on the Hot 100, and the third single will be "Still Dirrty" which will not match the success of the first two singles but will still do well enough to allow a fourth single, which will flop.
Rihanna - After Break It Off and another single from AGLM is released, she will reinvent herself in a way that shocks people. This style will give her a couple hit singles and possibly a Grammy or two.
Jessica Simpson - Once she realizes that IBTM has flopped, she will release an uptempo song as a single that does better than IBTM, but still does not prove successful. She will take a three-year break from music and then come out with an album in 2009 that actually has good ballads on it.
Jamelia - She will release Something About You in the U.S. this winter, and it will be a Top 20 hit for her.
Lady Sovereign - LMOHM will go Top 40, but the rest of her singles from "Public Warning" will fail to chart in the U.S.

Nelly Furtado - She will eventually release "Say It Right" before the end of 2006 due to "Maneater" being the catastrophic flop it was. "Say It Right" will most likely take "Loose" into platnum territory and she could release "All Good Things" as a radio single, and end off "Loose" with another amazing, sucessful single.
