Lohan has been certified Gold for her 2005 release "A Little more Personal" (after quite a while...) and as we all know the album has completely flopped, but any people out there feel sorry for her?

I can honestly say I wasn't a fan of Speak ("Rumors" and "Over" were both alright) but she is more Natural on this album and the songs are pretty good (apart from a few) but I can really say its an album that hasn't got the proper exposure it needed. That I guess is partly because she has moved away from her usual fanbase with "Confessions" but I think "Fastlane" will help her sales.

I just think that people who make a decent album should be rewarded, its pretty good for an actress (I mean, look at Jennifer Love Hewitt etc...)

What are you guys thinking? I just don't think Duff can produce music like this (Black Hole, Confessions, If Its Alright etc...) Sorry to say she doesn't deserve her success with stuff like "Beat of my Heart" (and she lip synced it at the AMAs, come on, its like a one line song!) Sorry to all the hil lovers....

About bloody time aswell. I kinda feel sorry for her cos the album isn't that bad.

I love her music and I am wondering why people don't like this album, it's not bad at all. It is one of my favorite of all time!

I def don't feel sorry for her. It's really not that bad for a actress-turned singer. I don't feel as though she is that emotionally tied to the project either. Gold is alright.

It's a great album! I play it everyonce in a while

If you think about it, she didn't really do much to promote the song or cd, so you get back what you put in...

Cause it's more rock, nothing to 'kinda' dance to. Speak had "First", "Speak", "Rumors", "Magnet", "To Know Your Name", not to mention more upbeat songs than slow ones. Though "Rumors" didn't chart, it was BIG on MTV, which got it more promo for people to buy (givin' her that platty). She should have a re-release with some bonus tracks that are more upbeat. I'll love the girl regardless as an actress or singer, she's gorgeous and she can belt over some drums and guitars on my iPod ANY day.

I went out and got 'Speak' because i was a huge fan of Lindsay around '04 and i thought it was a really hot album, but i didnt bother getting her new one. Not sure why, but i just dont like the new lindsay in general.

Its been gold since January, and Gold isn't really a flop. I mean theres well known artists out there who cant get past 200k.

dont worry u dont need 2 be sorry. just two things... hilary did make great songs for her self-titled album that were similar to black hole & if it's alright... and lastly beat of my heart didnt have ANY success except 4 in australia...

Yeah I get that, I'm not exactly a Hilary follower so I wouldn't know. Which personal songs has she written? I wanna hear them.

I just think lohans follow up is better than her debut, but it has no attention at all....

It's a shame that she's flopping so badly I think her latest album deserves more recognition than it unfortunately got.

I liked the cd despite me hating her

Lindsay Lohan (the "musician") is not known for her emotional connectivity to her "songwriting", nor the musical merit of any of her work.

She is known for being a *****. Plain and simple.
'Rumors' got attention because she was whiny, and the video flaunted the double D's.

With no 'Rumors' - there was no media attention.
I.e. "My personal album OMGZ im such a respectable artist" tanked. (in comparison to 'Speak' that is)

Note to the Lindsay Brigade: I am in no way trying to intentionally attack Lindsay based on my own personal opinion of her. Frankly, I though COABH was some of her best "work". But the matter of the fact is, that is my firm belief in why the album flopped, and am not commenting on the quality of her music. Keep that in mind.

Confessions Of A Broken Heart is her best single though

I understand where you're coming from, its true (and I'm a fan of hers)

Confessions was good, but not anything that blew up like Rumors.
