Although I wasn’t expecting something traditional and certainly not something ethereally pink, Lady Gaga’s perfume, Fame, is a flowery scent, even sweet (with apricot notes).
However, they say it’s not your average perfume(duh!) and that it doesn’t have a linear progression (meaning that it’s not like the classic scents – with top / middle / base notes but more like a pyramid – perfume structure).
I wonder if they didn’t do that on purpose, so they would have to explain more on the matter and not just throw in a simple, average explanation to accompany the launch of Lady Gaga’s Fame perfume. Which comes in a black bottle, anyway. And in the black egg – shaped bottle with golden claws cap is a black perfume!
Black as in black liquid in the bottle and invisible when sprayed! Ain’t that Fame? (Oh, and did I say that it’s a flowery scent? It revolves around Belladonna. Also known as Deadly Nighshade. A plant known for giving hallucinations and delirium.)
