I dunno if Mariah's ever had a hit as massive as My Heart Will Go On globally.

She's certainly huge in the US, but I don't know if her UK impact, for instance, has been as big.

I think, at their PEAK, it would be Celine.

Falling Into You AND Let's Talk About Love are both bigger than any Mariah album.

Madonna never really had a MASSIVE beyond-words peak with a single era. True Blue is her biggest WW era and it sold 22 million- huge but not unreal like Celine who had 2 consecutive 30 million albums + a 20 million GH immediately after.

It was always consistency with Madge. Celine never really made it out of the 90s in terms of continued success.

That is all true. The most impressive aspect of Madonna's sales is consistency, not peaks.
She's had moderate success for peaking after so long, her last album sold over 2.5 million.

Celine, no contest. Mariah is bigger than Celine in only 3 countries - US, Japan and Brazil, and the gap between them on those countries isn't that huge.
