I have a job interview in a couple of hours and I'm pretty nervous. It's a minimum wage job but I need some cash for this summer so I'll take anything.

All the jobs I've had in the past were pretty much from relatives and school so yeah... I've only had one interview in the past and I kind of blew it.

Do you guys get nervous? Or had any bad experiences regarding interviews? Do tell.

In the initial stage, I speak/talk horribly cause I am THAT nervous but if the interviewer is nice and friendly(usually they should be considering they know how much nervous the interviewee is) then after a while you start relaxing. Tbh if the job is in your fate, you'll get it. Just relax and be yourself. They'll know who is faking it and choose accordingly. Best of luck!

Nahh, not really. I had a job interview for a clothing store I worked at for like a month (it sucked ass). And it was chill, just like say that you love life, you loveee people, and you're hardworking & amazing. You'll do fine. Good luck!

I should just be relaxed as it's not the end of the world if I don't get this, I just don't want to get caught off guard or choke when they ask a question I can't BS.

Funny that I see this thread, because I'm literally on the train home from an interview right now!

My nerves used to be crippling, but the more you know what you are talking about, the more it helps. I always try feign some confidence because once you sense that the interviewer is respecting you, things become a lot smoother.

I had an hour long one just this month. I did exceptional.

So weird seeing this I had one today

I was VERY nervous at first even stuttered a few times but as it went on I was fine. They said they'll let me know something next week I hope I get it

I hope that you guys that had an interview recently got it.

I don't get nervous, I'm very outgoing so it really doesn't matter to me haha

Oh gurl, and be ready for some generic ass questions. They started asking me stuff like, "What inspires you?" And luckily I was quick on my feet and I just started spewing out some grade A bullcrap about, "Oh gurl, I just wanna always be sure that I can be proud of who I am and what I've done, along with the goals I've made and accomplished throughout my life." I felt like Jesus Christ after that answer.

At times. I usually try to prepare myself the night before. I think the anticipation is worse than the interview itself - once the interview starts, I feel much better.
