British restaurants are over priced and portions can be mean. Service is better in the UK.
I think it depends where you go. I practically starved during a weekend in Blackpool re: all the horrible food but back home in the city there's a huge amount of choice.
You guys are free and easy about drinks/refills whereas it's the opposite here. You get a lot more value for money @ America. Your bread is weird tho.

Why the hell would steak, cheesecake or pizza be considered "American cuisine"? They are all originated elsewhere. The imperialism is strong with this one.
