I signed up for Spanish class as my priority option for junior year in my high school, but the classes were full so I got my second option, French French is a bitch to learn about, and I have to learn all 35 of my classmates' name in French for a test tomorrow I'm like... Bitch im not going to remember you next year why do I have to know your name in French?
I´m Spanish myself,and i think French is way easier to learn(Spanish has tons of irregular verbs,oral expressions etc so you can´t just study it, in order to learn you have to be involved in a Spanish speaking area somehow otherwise it´s impossible)

I've been told the exact same thing about spanish during my 5 years of learning it. "Spanish is like the easier little sister of French" (both Romance languages). For a french speaker, learning spanish seemed much more easier.

I'm studying French, and we were first told that it's the most relative language to English - this could be subjective though.
I have Spanish relatives and I can not pick up the language, like at all
Probably just comes down to the person learning the language. I also found German to be quite similar when I had to study it in high school - I found it terribly boring tho

Id say it isnt. French has influenced English vocabulary but it is not the closest language to English. It would probably be Dutch and Frisian

No its not. Everything in Spanish sounds like how its written, there's no confusion. It follows a set of rules and once you get that down you're good.
And while English has a lot of French words, the majority of people who speak English tend to speak the Germanic words. Also, French is harder but it's not a hard language.
I'd like to learn French but I'm afraid because French people are so mean and judgmental when your accent and pronunciation aren't as eloquent as theirs . So Spanish becuz our language has a bit of Spanish words !
