I'm still shocked that Trump picked Pence...Pence doesn't exactly scream vote for me to Independents and Blue Collar Democrats. Any marginal chance Trump had with Sanders supporters evaporated as well.

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump fires Pence if his poll numbers start to tank.

This very small subset of voters is thick as ****.

I don't understand this pick at all... he already HAS all the staunch conservatives and religious right, why wouldn't he pick someone who could appeal more to the middle which is what he lacks with his ridiculous out there shtick? For a businessman, this is such a messy amateur decision...

Pence ain't going to scare them away. Some of them just hate Clinton so they don't care.

The thing is he doesn't even for sure have those people yet. They just lean towards him. A lot of them think he isn't genuine.

If Trump was smart he would've picked someone that appeals to Democrats more, aka someone more concerned with fiscal issues. Pence is a staunch social conservative stuck in the past. He's a decent speaker but I don't see his messages getting across.
Anyway, most of the #NeverHillary's are just abstaining from the polls altogether rather than voting for Trump. I honestly think the Little Berns that refuse to jump from him to Hillary are just a vocal minority. The large majority of Democrats will vote of their candidate regardless of who it is.

Sanders supporters would never vote for Trump anyway. But Pence is truly the pits.

They're all going to vote for Jill Stein which isn't exactly doing much to prevent Trump from becoming President but it's better than voting for him

I don't get why he chose Pence. He was already going to win Indiana and choosing a teabagger is not going to help him win any big swing states or get him any milennials (which he desperately needs). Its almost like he's trying to sabotage his own campaign

These voters just want to "blow up the system," don't genuinely give a damn about politics, and are not particularly bright. 93% of Clinton and Sanders voting records align, but these folks have gone full steam ahead with their anti-establishment agenda and would rather endure the absolute chaos of a Trump presidency than growing the **** up and working for political change in a more logical & productive manner.

Thankfully, this is not a huge percentage of former Sanders supporters.

Jill Stein isn't even going to be on the ballot in a lot of places

But no way in hell are they voting for Hillary, so he might as well have them. Had he picked a more moderate VP, perhaps he could win over some of the people who hate both he and Hilary. They might decide he's the lesser of two evils. But this ultra-conservative direction might be too much for some of those people.
