Apple is not going to take Spotify off the app store. Spotify has never made any money ever. That's more likely to put them out of business than anything else. Spotify could be profitable but they have like 70-100 million free users....that run up the royalties that ads alone can't possibly support.

Apple could get angry and sue them for libel or slander...

Apple's store is a HUGE platform, and the fact that Spotify don't want to fork out money to pay for being on the most well known App Store, says a lot.

Infact, Spotify were charging people more per month to use it it they signed up in-App. So basically, Spotify were making their money anyway.

Spotify needs to stop accepting free users, and use their free service as a 6 month trial.
After 6 months, you HAVE to pay or the ads play after every song.

Make it unbearable to the point where people choose to pay, and aren't forced, but if they choose to not pay, it's unbearable.
