Poll: Did Ke$ha change the sound of radio?

After the super success of Tik Tok I noticed a major shift in pop music, and I don't even listen to the radio that much. That said, I know what's hot cause I watch the charts and from what I can see, all the the major hits have been heavily inspired by Ke$has sound, which was fresh and very original. Just to name a few hits that have come after the Animal album was released:

Britney Spears - Til The World Ends
Katy Perry - California Gurls
Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)
Katy Perry - Last Friday Night
Nicki Minaj - Starships
Jessie J - Domino

Tik Tok was Kesha's answer to Just Dance, so I would attribute more of the change to that song.

well k$ wrote TTWE so that's understandable but yes, CG, Domino, LFN are all Tik Tok 2.0

I dont really get the feeling that Only Girl sounds like k$ at all.

Maybe not on first listen, but (and I say this as inpartially as i can), that electro-dance sound or whatever you wanna call it is an offshoot of JD. Ke$ha would have been marketed completely differently if Gaga hadn't exploded onto the scene.

Yes. The fact that I still hear Tik Tok's sons and daughters and nephews til this day.

These pop acts really drove Kesha's sound to the ground.

Everything on the radio sounds exactly Tik Toc. Or Commander by Kelly.

The idea that Tik Toc was the answer to Just Dance, I can somewhat agree with. I just think Tik Toc was the answer to the electro-dance movement that Gaga (and others) capitalized on before Kesha broke into the scene.

And every example is spot on except for Only Girl. That sound is far more true to the dance genre than the others.

I hope Ke$ha reinvents her sound completely for her new record. She wouldn't sound fresh any more, the common features of her Animal and Cannibal songs have been so overdone by now.
