It's only off-putting if you're weird about it and don't expect artists to be normal people who take pride in accomplishment or if for some reason you dislike her success.

You are delusional if you think none of these Pop girls are chart obsessed.

All of them, Gaga, Katy, Rihanna, Taylor, Nicki etc. are chart obsessed. They all wants #1s and want to outdo each other and thats a FACT.

Except for maybe Beyonce & Britney...all the major Pop girls closely watch their positions on the charts.

Some are more open about it than the others but still.
