this is not a shade thread!
i just wanna know why so many people, especially here on atrl hate/don't like lady gaga's 'born this way' record. i remember when 'judas' and 'the edge of glory' came out, almost everybody loved it. tell me why are you disappointed with this record, what have you expected? what didn't happen?

for me, it's the production, on some tracks, the big ego behind this record and that it all sounded like you put everything into a mixer, there isn't a real structure for me. there are some great songs like 'the edge of glory' or 'heavy metal lover' - the atmosphere is great. just because i'm a madonna fan, doesn't mean i hate gaga. but i liked her music before, but with 'born this way', i was really disappointed.

i just don't know how to explain it, but there are so many things that annoy me on this record. you can really see that it's a detail work but on some points it feels like gaga was really forcing herself to make a high standard record instead of just letting it flow, and she failed

Cause it wasn't as successful as TF/M.

It's pretentious, it's ridiculous, it's obnoxious, it's over-the-top, it's unnecessary, it's discombobulated - and most of all, it failed to live up to the standards that Gaga provided for the album. But I've been using the past few weeks anyway.

I disliked it at first because it was so different from The Fame , TFM and i loved that Gaga. It grew on me though its a pretty good album.

I think a lot of her haters were/are so fed up with her that by the time the album came out they were prepared to hate it regardless of what it sounded like.

when i hear this record, it feels like it was made especially for people who are insecure to make them feel better..it sounds really weird...but i'm just telling what i think...

i think thats why the title is called BORN THIS WAY

I think SOME people just hate it because they won't give Gaga a chance or they hate it because she's Gaga
