Nicki and Meghan are just making fun of the norm: fit beautiful woman. Since when is it shaming since it's the norm.

It's not just fat people though even average sized people mainly boys pick on very slim tall girls for being ''lanky'' or ''flat chested'' or having a ''chicken ass''. Two wrongs don't make a right. Some curvy girls scream ''the fashion industry believe girls above size 6 are ugly'' but I don't think the fashion industry dictates beauty ideals as much as it used to. In real life women who haven't got a flat stomach, big boobs and a big butt are pushed aside. It is a thing, it's not ok and instead of learning from fat or curvy shaming in the past people are now doing the reverse.

I mean.... you don't see nearly this many "is fat shaming ok" threads.... and fat people legit get shamed. Unlike paranoid skinny people.

It doesn't matter if it's the norm. Instead of emrbacing their own size or better yet embracing all sizes they decide to take cheap shots at slim girls to make the feminazi's who will be eating these songs up feel better about themselves.

No it is not, any sort of shaming is not ok. Just because it's not done to an extent where it's a problem on a massive scale doesn't make it ok. If you feel entitled to shame someone based on your own insecurities and solely because they don't fit your ideal picture you're probably worse than they are.

No one's life or way of living is immaculate or a blue-print fo all of us to follow. We all have different opinions on topics but if you're purposely trying to put someone down for who they are, how they act, what they look like you're no better than those people who called you slurs in highschool, coworkers who don't want to associate themselves with you because you're gay, and so on and so forth.

No type of body shaming is ok and anyone who does it comes across as immature and insecure, the world is tough enough without us trying to make it harder for eachother.
