Madonna got interviewed during her second day of her Roman holiday before her concert.
Obviously one of the topic was Lady Gaga:
Quote:
Speaking of Lady Gaga cast a chill in the room. Her agent plies: "It isn't better talking about the tour? Or about the album?" [...]
Is Lady GaGa a threat or only another temporary "spice girl"?
She closes her eyes, takes a long breath, holds her breath. She invokes who knows which kind of saints or demons to keep her self control: "She is an artist with a great, high level of talent.".
She's clearly sick of being asked questions about Lady Gaga..
Yeah, that's why she's covering 'Born This Way' on her tour and has talked about her in every interview of the MDNA era. She clearly doesn't want the media attention.

Girl BYE she talked about gaga in ONE interview!!! Get over yourself!
She's clearly sick of being asked questions about Lady Gaga.. Madonna already dished out her opinion months ago. When will the media give it a rest?
I don't think so. I mean she's basically using it to be more talked about. Her tour is doing great but she needs to spice it up a little for the younger generation. Using Born This Way in her tour is really reason enough to know she's enjoying the attention

I'm pretty sure Graham Norton and 20/20 are already two. And these are the first one which came to my mind. That's fine, though, Gaga is a media-*****, too, I'm not criticizing.
Il nuovo video, Turn up the radio, sarà girato in Italia. Dove?
"Non le svelerò il contenuto naturalmente, ma lo gireremo a Firenze, nell'unico momento possibile tra una data e l'altra del tour".
= She will shoot the video in Firenze, between 1st and 2nd italian dates.
Quote:
Che cosa le piacerebbe scoprire nell'iPod dei suoi figli? E cosa ascoltano invece?
"Non mi permetterei mai di discutere i loro gusti, perché la musica è un fatto personale. Ascoltano molta elettronica, molto hip hop, Justin Bieber ovviamente...".
= She doesn't want to judge her children's tastes. They listen a lot hip-hop and Justin Bieber....
I thought an artist could establish certain boundaries for interviewers, notifying them of what topics they are allowed to cover and which ones they can't talk about.
If she doesn't want to talk about Lady Gaga, couldn't her publicist simply tell the interviewer that the topic is not allowed?
Madonna is strategic. I wouldn't take everything on the surface so literally. Even if she may appear to not want to talk about Lady Gaga, that may not actually be the case (it's probably not the case).

Uhm she talked about Gaga in at least 3 interviews and tweeted about her on that Q&A she did. And then there's the BTW cover.
Ugh.
You know what who cares. Gaga is not all Madonna talked about this era ANYWAY. You gaga Stan's are always over exaggerating about this, making it seem like gaga is all Madonna talked about. IT'S NOT.
