I don't understand why people are under the impression that humans need to eat meat to survive. A good number of the world is purely vegetarian and I don't see them dying of
a) A lack of protein
b) A lack of stimulation to their taste buds
Get over your delusions and stop allowing yourself to think that it's okay to eat meat, especially when the meat isn't even humanely produced. If you go out to the forest and kill a chicken and eat it, that's fine by me - that is the circle of life.
But if you're going to catch a chicken, put it in a cage, forcibly impregnate it, rear its chicks in a small box and eventually kill it, that's wrong - you're raising it for slaughter and completely denying it a chance at a normal life.
So either you go vegetarian, pescetarian or you just go free range.
I'm frustrated about animal cruelty, sorry if this comes off as pushy.
