How exactly? There was nothing revolutionary or innovative about "The Fame."

he said new sound not revolutionary or innovative. and yeah that was new sound because radio stations didn't even want to play just dance because it was dance not pop. I remember they even did a kardinal offishall remix of the song to make it sound "radio friendly". funny how things changed and now just dance is the definition of radio friendly

She made what defies Pop now. Dance. Although it has been introduced before, it didn't take over yet (I know you all will name Blackout by Britney. But the sales are facts and so are critics' opinions).

What people is that Gaga's played the major role of thrusting Eurodance onto the radios for the better part of three years in the United States.

Let's not be ridiculous. This isn't a thread about Britney's influence, and all of those songs by Britney came after Madonna tackled electronic dance pop anyway.

What Gaga did was dominate the pop music scene in such a way that not only did her Eurodance songs smash the charts, but we saw a notable and extreme rush to release all kinds of Eurodance in the United States. She found success in dance but forced those around her to take note and catch on or be left behind, something other artists like Madonna, Britney Spears and Robyn didn't really achieve.

Britney was the original. Mandy and Christina were the clones.
