Lana Del Rey opened up in a recent interview, denouncing feminism and discussing a mystery illness that afflicted her while touring in support of her 2012 debut Born to Die. Regarding her views on gender equality, she told Fader, "For me, the issue of feminism is just not an interesting concept. . . Whenever people bring up feminism, I'm like, god. I'm just not really that interested." She went on to say, "I'm more interested in, you know, SpaceX and Tesla, what's going to happen with our intergalactic possibilities."
When asked more about her feelings on feminism, she defined the word. "My idea of a true feminist is a woman who feels free enough to do whatever she wants." And when the interviewer followed up that statement by asking her why she's often choked in her videos, she said, "I like a little hardcore love."
she think something about feminism but she's not that interested on it? what is contradictory about it? lol. Some people live for feminism and what it means, other people are just indifferent about it, whats wrong with that?

Eh. I sort of identify with what she's saying in that, like, I totally identify myself as a feminist and agree with feminism's core tenets and so on, but god, it's just not very interesting to talk about and discuss, at least for me personally. Whenever people start having discussions about feminism IRL I'm just like, "ugh, can we please talk about something else?"

She just sounds like the classic person who doesn't understand what "feminism" is, and probably thinks it's all about angry vegan women with armpit hair emasculating men and calling everyone sexist, a viewpoint held by many ignorant members on here too.
Educate ya'selves, it ain't cute to be disinterested in equality sistren. Lana will regret these dumb comments.
