The whole countdown time system turns me right off, like, I want to explore

I want this game shot 3 times and buried.
I don't like the whole Fabula Nova concept, I think it was crappily thought out and rushed. Squeenix is now only here for the coins and not for the sake of core fans of the Final Fantasy saga.

I think this game should have never been called Final Fantasy. It doesn't feel the same. Hironobu and Nobuo were really the masterminds. Yoshitaka and Tetsuya need to step up their games.

EDIT: And inb4 someone bashes me for this, just letting you know that I've played almost every single MAIN Final Fantasy game, including the XIII saga, excluding the online games. So I'm really disappointed because I know they can do better.

Lightning and Snow made more sense to me than Serah and Snow (who were so creepy to me because of how young they made Serah look and sound )

Was going to pick up my copy today, but Gamestop was closed due to inclement weather. FML

The story sucks but the battle system slays lives.
Each game in the XIII series is too different from each other for starters so it feels disjointed.
The timer sucks ass because it basically forces you to do a speed run but there are quests that you can do to extend it.

The world is large but the game was not well planned out which undermines the feel of exploration.
Overall I give it a C+

I have a terrible feeling about this game, siliconera already dragged it to the pits and the tacky fanservice bothers me a lot

are you serious? who cares about the fan service. the game is fun. it is not terrible by any means.

I admit the fanservice outfits bothered me too but there are literally so many garbs in this game that if you don't want to see them, you don't ever have to use them.

How can Nobuo be a mastermind when all he did was compose music? Like.. his work is legendary and iconic.. but he's literally done nothing for Final Fantasy other than it's music?

Death at everyone coming for Kitase when he made FFVII, VIII, X, and parts of XIII. He even made half of iconic VI. He just needs to be a director again and STOP producing.

Hamauzu needs to get the boot his work is VERY hit and miss in terms of music.
XIII-2 was god awful minus a few tracks.

Mizuta did more than half of XIII-2 lol. Suzuki did a little less. Hamauzu made very little songs for it. LR is more balanced but Mizuta is still the main composer.
