If that's what he feels is the "true meaning of hip-hop", then yeah, I guess Soulja Boy is the true meaning of hip-hop. You don't have to like the song, but you have to admit that it is impressive for a 17-year old rapper to have the biggest song of the year last year. I'm almost 18 now and haven't come up with a huge phenomenon yet. So who am I to hate?

Although I do disagree with Kanye saying that every line in "Crank That" has a hidden meaning. Or was he talking about something else when he said that?
