Why "No blacks, no asians, no latinos" is problematic
We live in a world where, for obvious reasons, white people and white features were/are painted to be the superior over everyone else. All perceptions of beauty up until very recently were white women/men, and they still dominate that market today.
If you give a black child a white baby doll and a black baby doll and ask which one they want to play with/which one they think is prettier, they will almost always pick the white doll. This causes huge self hate/self esteem issues in minority communities, because you're basically taught by society that you aren't pretty and that you're a bad person because of your skin color.
You can do something racist, without yourself being racist. This makes you PREJUDICED. You can be conditioned to have subconscious racist attitudes. This obviously does not mean that you ever owned slaves. Quit being so defensive when the R-word comes into play, it will get us nowhere.
If your parents are in their 50's or 60's, they remember segregation vividly. We are not that far removed from a time when racism was a codified concept. It is something that has existed on the forefront of our consciousness for centuries. It has become an emboldened part of our every day life. As a product of such a world, you are bound to pick up the opinions and norms of people who grew up in a race divided society.
Black women are not intrinsically unattractive. White women are not intrinsically attractive. It's all conditioning. You've been conditioned.
Now, does being a product of said conditioning make you racist? No. Does it mean you hate minorities? No. BUT, does said conditioning stem from century old racist attitudes? Yes. Does this make you a bad person? Depends on how you react.
So understand, when you say **** like "I don't find black people attractive", even if that's not a conscious effort, you are still propagating a "preference" that ****s with a lot of people. Even if you feel that way, just don't vocalize it, and realize that you should be working to eliminate those baseless preconceived ideas of race.
Google translate this into the idiot version, because they're still not gonna understand it, say something about white people being opressed too, close out atrl, and open up Google images and beat their ashy meat to Shawn Mendes and Charlie Poot
The OP is spot on.
EDIT: Wait Thanks for the reminder Poor person that reported this
I actually have no problem with preference. I just think ruling something out ENTIRELY is a little prejudiced. There are attractive members of every race, but people think of negative stereotypes when thinking of blacks, asians, etc. and therefore conclude that they "don't like that race." This is the racist part, not the part about who you're attracted to.

since when have people been able to change what they're sexually attracted to?
and i think the idea that not vocalizing racism makes any difference in this case is pretty stupid. like, what is the person supposed to do then? date and have sex with people they're not attracted to? people notice if you only ever date inside your race, and if someone asks them about that, are they just supposed to lie? i guess they could do that? but either way, it makes no difference because they'll still feel the same, they just won't say it out loud. the effect of people not dating other races is still there, even if nobody says anything, so what good does that do?

First off, you could try saying "I'm not attracted to you" instead of "No blacks, asians, etc" from the jump as that is exclusionary and really furthers nothing.
Secondly, People come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. Just as you have a type you are attracted to there is a type you're not attracted to. I get it. However if you were to met two different X minority people and you think I could never be with them because of their skin color that is RACIST. If you decide you don't want to be with them as their not your type and you want to hold out for your type that's fine.

You're singling out an entire race you haven't seen every black person to say **** like that
It is obviously racist, so idk why some people need it chewed up for them, but this thread can only be helpful (right?) so hey!

This. And you're robbing people of their agency. Black looks like Rihanna and it looks like Beyoncé and Lupita and Naomi and Mariah Carey.
To exclude ALL these uniquely skin toned, featured, and personalited women under the umbrella of "no blacks" is nothing else but racist. Whether intentional or not. Because aside from their black heritage, they're such different people.
It's the same thing with gay black men and Asian dudes. Asian means Korean, Middle Eastern (sometimes), Indian, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, etc. which all, again, don't look or act the same even WITHIN their ethnicies. Let alone across country borders.
It's just one more way for white supremacy to hold itself up. I don't personally care as I know my value, and I can find tons of men who DON'T think that way of all races, but we shouldn't sanitize it either.
