Despite Bieber's ardent fan base, Believe could prove a disappointment. The concert biopic, costing at least $5 million to make, may only eke out $1.2 million on Christmas Day, putting it outside the top 10. Open Road Films is launching the film in just over 1,000 theaters, and kept its marketing spend to a modest $5 million.
That's too bad. I honestly think he wants nothing to do with his career at this point but his management is still trying to wring him out to the last penny. It's amazing how quickly he fell off!
