Apple released an update to the 2016 MacBook Pro, to fix the Graphics Issues, but also to address Battery Life concerns.
Users have reported their 2016 MacBook Pro's to shut down after 3 - 6 hours, and yet Apple are claiming users are getting the full 10 hours, it's the "Time Remaining" prediction that's incorrectly advising time left on the charge.
However, as reported all over the net, the actual laptops are dying only after 3 hours - 6 hours. For example, one of the most popular Apple threads have users claiming that their laptop actually fully switched off after 3 hours.
The OP claimed they ran their battery down using just Safari after 3 hours.
Instead, Apple have just removed the status bar that tells you how much time they have left.
So now you're left in the dark to know how much time you have left on your MacBook's charge.
Meanwhile, the other Retina MacBook Pro's seem unaffected.
The 2015 MacBook's never looked better. Apparently the 2016 MacBook is affected by the issue (not as much) but Apple have removed it for them too (

They better bring it in 2017.
