The fans have been waiting for quite some time for the Katy Perry New Album 2016. There were reports of the singer visiting India after the release of the album. However, as per the latest reports, the album might be released in 2017.

I personally wouldn't mind. She did the Superbowl in 2015, which was a HUGE moment for her, so the break doesn't feel unnaturally long. At least not to me, but I'm not a stan so maybe that's why.
The lead will be here by August. She's been recording and it doesn't take more than two weeks to record an album as long as you focus on it. She's got months to still make a Q4 release.
