A lot of pop culture fans on twitter are saying that Gaga deserved 2016's VMA Video Vanguard award more than Rihanna, who will be awarded with it this year.

Not yet, maybe after/if LG5 serves us some really good videos! Although, even with her 'flop' era, Gaga had amazing music videos.

I'm glad she didn't get it this year cause I'm inclined to think she may perform at this year's VMA and I would like her performance to just promote the lead single rather than doing a medley.

I mean she deserves it at some point but 2016 isn't really the year for it.... Would have been nice to launch her comeback but it really is no surprise she didn't get it.
