I've tried to lucid dream before, but it never worked. I never tried what you put in that link so maybe I'll try it tonight!

That lucid dreaming thing is false, that's not how you do it. I used to change my sleep habits to try and force myself to lucid dream, and it's nothing like hearing weird noises or anything, you're just awake in a dream, it's fun

I've been experiencing sleep paralysis for ten years and it is pretty consistent. Each time is equally terrifying. My second year of college was the worst because it interfered with my sleep and I missed my morning class a lot

Then how do you get yourself to lucid dream?

I used to love blue Doritos and eat them before I went to sleep. I'd have the most real dreams ever and then wake up and it would have only been like 30 minutes since I last checked the time.

Sleep paralysis yes and well....for me it's kinda a very scary event..it usually happens in correlation with me waking up crying

I've lucid dreamt so many times. It's so much fun if it's a pleasurable () or a cool dream, but it's horrifying if it's a nightmare--and I've had lucid dreamt in both cases. I haven't done the supposed method to lucid dream, though; it just happens by chance maybe once every few months.

ETA: But only once did I have the sleep paralysis and the lucid dreaming combo in a nightmare I was in a labryinth-like mansion at night..pitch-black..and all I knew that there was a man after me in the house with a knife, but I didn't know where he was. I woke up tearing up and sweating my balls off because it really took a lot of effort to wake up from that horrid nightmare.

i get sleep paralysis a couple days each month. each time it gets worse. once i was being suffocated, another time there was a man-like dark figure in the room with me. it's scary because your mind is awake and i can see everything i just can't signal my body to wake up. but after reading a few articles, my trick is now to wiggle my toes and that wakes me body up. it's still horrible though

What does the 'Jesus be a fence' video have anything to do with lucid dreaming? I apologize for not seeing the connection in advanced, I'm just a lil confused why you posted it..

Sleep paralysis was really normal for me for several years, like, every few weeks? And at one point it got really bad being almost nightly. And then it just stopped.

Last time, was a few months ago and it was terrifying, because I saw a figure on the ground in front of my bed and I just felt that it was death. Like I just knew I was going to die and I started trying to move or scream, just anything, like even my roommate's name (who I don't really know well, so I hope I didn't. )

I think i have lucid dreamed a few times. I kinda control my actions when i dream, it's fun. But never sleep paralysis

I lucid dream pretty often, I'm not sure how I do it but it happens. I noticed it happens the most from 4am to 10am

Omg those comments on the FB Link seem very dramatized. I didn't think that people were 1.) So open about their personal lives that they would share them online on a random FB post, and 2.) that people that "claim" to lucid dream, understand that they are dreaming - and yet are still scared of the dream when they wake up. Do they not realize the difference of knowing you are in a dream and being afraid of your dreams?

Well it's not fully a lucid dream if it's a nightmare, since you control EVERYTHING in your dreams once you're completely lucid, so you wouldn't have nightmares
