Well, because the way I see it, is that when you "steal" music, nothing gets taken away from someone. Well, technically they "lose" sales, but then isn't listening to music on youtube just as bad?

That being said, I love supporting my favorite artists and intend to buy all the CDs I like.

I own over 200 CDS and about 12 of those are Taylor Swift The rest are just different artists or CD singles.

What kind of failed logic? YouTube is a legal website that is also used by record companies and artists. ******* sites and mediafire is illegal and not used by artists. Why? well because it's basically like saying hey, I don't give a **** about your time and effort for making this album. I'll just take it for free.

I absolutely hate having illegal music. but I don't buy music really (except for my top faves), I just pay for rdio (streaming service).

Oh I guess your'e right that it's different cause streaming counts for BB now.... but idk, I find it weird that some huge music fan wouldn't pay any money for music, but there's not that huge of a difference to me with streaming and illegally downloading.

If I really enjoy the music, I will purchase it legally to support the artist and their label.
