It was kinda foolish for the label not to push "Marry You," but I think Bruno was trying to go beyond the whole cheesy "I Love You" theme that he had built his whole persona on, which is why he went with "Lazy Song" as his third single. I don't think many artists want to be pigeonholed, so it probably was a good idea to let the song ride on its own.
I'm interested in what Bruno brings with his next album.

I think it had to do with the publishing issues he was having and Doo-Wops was tied to that. That's why he released "It Will Rain" instead of a fourth single. The album could have gone at least two more singles deep otherwise.
yes marry you would have been a huge hit, if he released it as a single in the US, but I am glad he didn't and it did very good on its own, bruno wanted to spice things up and that's the same reason he decided to perform runaway baby at the grammys to show people a different side of him and it worked.
Firework wasn't released in Novemeber. It was released in summer 2010. It was only the music video that was out in November I think, but the song was up for download ages before then.

It was up for download cause the album was released in August.

Yeah, so it was released in August. I say this because in my country the song had already been in the top 10 for quite a while when the music video was released!

I think The Other Side would have done well, it's one of the highlights of the album.
