I care about numbers / commercial success a little more now even though I know deep down it really doesn't matter.

School-wise I thought I was going to get really bad grades this past semester (I was on here all the time) and I ended up getting the best grades I've had since I started college.

Yeah, the only thing that has drastically changed is the way I see/feel about artists, and the whole stan wars crap.

I've been on message boards since 2003 (IMDB was my first board), so I don't think much would change. Whatever happens on the boards never carries over into real life. I still do everything I've always done.

Before ATRL: Doing very well in school with awards and achievements...and not being addicted to the Internet..

Without ATRL : Very depressed, sad, and I think I couldnt eat, just drink water..

It became a place where I incorporated my Chart watching habits and embraced with a community that loves it just as much as I do.
Before I was limited to radio, soon as I turned 18, I started embracing UK Charts, then this site and the alternative favs I found

Before ATRL: Casual listener to mainstream music, more into the classics. Lazy and a major procrastinator.

After ATRL: More immersed in the music industry like charts, albums, singles, tours and etc. Got into different genres I never expected to like. Got lazier and got worse in procrastination. Many endless nights of surfing. And a lot louder and cursive (the playful kind) to my friends.

Before ATRL I didn't see music as competitively as I do now. I was never looking at Billboard and itunes charts (and I had no idea other people did!) or comparing artists like I do now. I just enjoyed whatever I enjoyed and that was that. I never knew about "stanbases" or any of that lol. As far as my rl, it's the same I just have a new website to check everyday.

If there was no ATRL anymore I wouldn't care too much honestly.

I probably wouldn't have discovered much of the new music I did, had I not joined. Life before ATRL wasn't much different then it is now.
