Here are my votes for Round 6...

Group 1
1. Song 1 - mybonnie - My Chemical Romance "Famous Last Words" (A cool song. I can guess when a song is by My Chemical Romance now.)
2. Song 2 - muzik_freek - Flyleaf "All Around Me" (I recognized the vocalist as the same one who sang "Cassie." Lacey Mosley has a distinctive voice. I can recognize her now like I can with Shakira.)
3. Song 5 - Uncle O'Grimacey - The Decemberists "Summersong" (I thought he said "swallowed by a whale" in the chorus. It's "swallowed by a wave," but the way he pronounces the last word makes it sound like "whale." A nice chill-out song.)
4. Song 6 - obrigado - Nelly Furtado "Wait For You" (It gets repetitive, but I still think it's better than either Evanescence song. With this kind of beat, it's hard to find the BPM. Do I go with the lower or higher value?)
5. Song 4 - CyborG - Evanescence "Lacrymosa" (Two songs from Evanescence in the same group? I wanted to put both songs last, but only one could fit there. It's Amy Lee's voice that gets on my nerves. Does Evanescence do anything besides gothic sounding rock?)
6. Song 3 - Sleepwalking - Evanescence "Cloud Nine" (No more Evanescence. I get tired of them quickly.)

Group 2
1. Song 5 - Blanket Jackson - Marilyn Manson "New Model No. 15" (A kick-ass industrial rock song. The electronic instruments did it for me to rate it first.)
2. Song 4 - luisedo - Mat Kearney "Undeniable" (Mat Kearny happens to be a Christian artist. He also raps on the song "Girl America.")
3. Song 1 - Vato - Strange Fruit Project "Soul Clap" (It was hard to identify this song by the lyrics because only the first line was posted online anywhere that Google has been.)
4. Song 3 - Matto - April Sixth "Dear Angel" (There's a lot I don't know about the band April Sixth. I hope it gets released to modern and alternative rock radio.)
5. Song 6 - Sir. Will - Gwen Stefani "The Sweet Escape" (The title track off her new album. Better than "Wind It Up." After listening to it a few times, I wanted to rate it higher than last place. But that meant pushing someone else down. The woo-hoos and yee-hoos get annoying.)
6. Song 2 - ManClub - Fort Minor "Red To Black" (The heavy subject matter was the criteria that made this less likable than "The Sweet Escape." If either song from Evanescence in Group 1 were in Group 2, I'd rate this higher than Evanescence.)

Yeah he asked the post to be deleted after I talked to him about it. Anyway, I thought the single was still "LoveStoned" when the song was submitted, and it's too late now anyway. The song hasn't been played much yet so it pretty much is still an album track.

Some songs were really good this round ^_^

I talked to Kworb about it and he said what he did and so I told him so don't worry I still don't agree with it but it's still too late. I know how I'm voting this round.

I'm going to have to disagree, I thought they were just mediocre.

have to agree with Matto. this is the best round so far. seems like most people stepped it up in the song selection, and chose some different things.

In the first round of the final phase, Uncle O'Grimacey and obrigado meet their end. It's the third time that CyborG has the best ranked song in a round.

Round 8
The pool of contestants has been reduced to eight. In the rounds to come, they will be eliminated one by one, until one person remains who can claim that coveted song contest crown.

So for round 8, submit a song to me as soon as you can! Wednesday is the last day you can do so. Make sure not to send a single unless you're sure not many have heard it.

Eliminated contestants will still have the opportunity to vote (and it will count) but it is voluntary.

My rating. And I don't agree. The Top 4 was really good, but the rest wasn't all that amazing.
