I was just wondering about an episode and stuff like that. But if you guys like this show, feel free to make your comments here. i really don't know what this show is about, i don't watch it, but if you guys do I would love to hear from you and what you think about this show.
Battlestar Galactica is about humanity trying to survive after being blown up by the Cylons - robots made by the 12 Colonies of Man. Humans are trying to outrun the cylons while attempting to reach the land of myth - Earth.
Oly flaw? Cylons figured out how to look, act, bleed and be hot like humans. the BioCylons (or Humlons or what have you) are trying to cause problems for the humans on Galactica and the other ships. Lucy Lawless plays a head Cylon model - D'anna Biers (not spoiler, we've known that since November) and she's back this week and for a long stint in Season 3 this August.
Personally, I love this show. The cast is superb, the docu-style shooting is awesome and claustrophobic, the writing is top notch and Six (Tricia Helfer) best not be robbed by the Emmy boards this year (along with Mme Prez Mary and Edward James Olmos). By far the best show on the telly.
Yeah according to lots of people this show is good. I just wish I saw it when it started. I'm so confused, espcially since I started with "Final Cut'. Lol. I might watch the first episode just to see if it's any good. Final Cut wasn't that interesting, besides Lucy's role. There coming for a 3rd season.
Lol, this thread is so old. I still haven't caught any episodes from this show. I really should though. I've only seen one episode from this whole show.
watched the premiere as my first episode, and loved it. I don't know why I didn't start watching it sooner.
some of the background stuff was confusing, but i'll just download the mini series and read the battlestar wiki to educate myself on it.
The mini series is cool, it shows when the cylons attacked the twelve colonies. Season 1 of the series was mostly about Boomer realizing that she's a cylon aboard the Galactica, and season 2 was about the search for Earth, which in the Galactica universe is the legendary thirteenth colony. At the end of season 2 there were presidential elections, on one side there was Baltar who was in favor of settling on a new habitable planet they discovered, which they named New Caprica. And on the other side the current president Roslin wanted to keep on searching for Earth. But people were getting tired of running from the cylons and started to lose faith in the scriptures (which is kind of like their Bible), so Baltar won the elections. Then a few months after settling on New Caprica the cylons found them and took control.
Yesterday's episode was awesome. At the start I kept waiting for them to somehow NOT execute Jammer, but then they just did it and it was so sad
I think it was chilling to see them thirst for revenge (justice) so badly that they would kill their own even without a trial or anything. It was great to see Roslin put an end to it (and thank god Gaeta survived!)
And I don't think I'd mind if they kill off Baltar, but knowing him he'll find a way to survive.

Hmmm....Kworb? I'm thinking about buying this. Is Lucy like in every episode now? I see that Season's one and two are out right now so I might do it. I have one episode downloaded from Itunes and it's pretty decent. I'd like to hear your opinion on whether I should get it or not. I downloaded Final Cut and Lucy did a great job in it. Is there a lot of action in this show? Because in Final Cut there wasn't a big part of action in it. I'd like to know more. I want to collect everything Lucy <3333

$138...wow!!! I can't wait to start watching this. I have to force myself to like this because I've only seen one episode but it looks good. I can't wait.
The coming months will be torture!
