I actually agree that if she'd just lied and said it was partially Madonna-inspired, the situation would be better. We wouldn't have the "reductive" comment or the somewhat disrespectful inclusion of "She's Not Me" in a "Born This Way"/"Express Yourself" mash-up. :/

I don't get why Madonna's fans think that she deserves to have that kind of hate though, because she didn't say that it was inspired. I'd feel like **** if I truly felt that Whitney inspired me but I lied and had to say that it was Madonna because it sounds like one of her songs. That's ********, and I think that's why Gaga hates pop culture so much.
